PIETAK, Stanley Peter - Suddenly at home after a lengthy illness, Stanley Peter Pietak (Anaesthesiologist Extraordinaire) passed on October 29, 2018. He is survived by his broken-hearted wife of 52 years Dale and his beloved grieving daughter Alexis (Brian). In accordance to his wishes he will be cremated followed by a private family service. I just learned this afternoon of Stan's passing in October. He was one of the best teachers & role models I had during my residency at Queen’s. Stan was one of the smartest & most caring people I ever met. My deepest sympathy for Dale & Alexis.

I worked with Stan at the Dental Clinic for a number of years. Always a gentleman, and an absolute pleasure to work with and know. My sincere condolences to his wife and daughter and extended family.

I am saddened to hear of Dr. Pietak's passing and offer your family my sincere condolences. I worked with Dr. Pietak for many years in the PACU at HDH and then at the dental clinic. I held the deepest of respect for him as a caring person and talented anesthesiologist. Thinking of your family during this most difficult time.
