Dale McDonald

McDONALD, Dale - Suddenly and peacefully on Monday July 9th 2018 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of 44 years to Cheryl. Loved father of Derek (Hilary) and Allie (Geoff) Johnston. Special brother of Dix (Nola, predeceased), Doug (Beverley), Dan (Ruth) and Don (Linda). Loving brother-in-law to Wayne and Linda Weaver and he will be missed by his other brothers and sisters-in-law and his nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his four legged grandchildren, Pedro, Moose, Charles, Olive, Margot and Fred. In honouring Dales wish, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Thursday July 12th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of his Life will be held in the Chapel on Friday July 13th at 10:30 am. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Jump Start would be appreciated. Cheryl, I am so so sorry to hear the sad news. Every time I saw Dale he had a smile on his face and kind words to say. My heart is heavy for his loss. There are no words of real comfort, thinking of you all xx
