Paul Gordon Schwegler

SCHWEGLER, Paul Gordon - Passed away peacefully at the age of 55 after a short battle with cancer on Monday, May 14th, 2018. Beloved husband of Jennifer Neumann, loving stepfather of Justin and Kristen (Adam) and cherished grandson Benjamin. Paul will be deeply missed by his twin brother Peter (Sharon), sisters-in-law Margaret (Siva), Arlene (Mike), nieces Rebecca, Kirsten, Kelly and Emily, nephews Brian and Kurt (predeceased). Son of Gordon (predeceased) and Joan, son-in-law of Ben and Ellen. Paul will be dearly missed by family and friends. Known affectionately as Mr. Paul by students and staff of Notre Dame/ Branlyn Schools where he worked the majority of his 20 years with the Grand Erie School Board. Special thanks to the staff of 6B at BGH for their incredible care and compassion. Paul's body has been donated to McMaster University. As expressions of sympathy donations made to McMaster University or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. I am so sorry for your loss of this sweet gentle person. Paul was always a delight to work with and had the highest standards of courtesy and cooperation. Such a great smile!

I had the priviledge of coaching Paul and Peter when

they arrived at PDHS. We renewed our friendship when he joined the Board. I only heard positive comments about his work and everyone loved his outgoing personality. He was liked by all and will be missed by students and teachers.
