George Timothy (Tim) Ward

WARD, George Timothy (Tim) - Taken from us suddenly on Thursday May 10th, 2018. Born, August 17th 1950, in Port Hope, Ontario he was in his 68th year. Tim is survived by his best friend and wife of 45 years Julie, children Jeff (Andrea), Brian (Rizie), and Kristy (Stuart) and grandchildren, Ethan, James, Charlotte and Georgia, and his two sisters Cathy Ward-Griffin (Ted) and Sue Wolstenholme (Harry). The enormous pride in his three children was only outmatched by his love for them. He was known for his infectious sense of wonder, positivity and adventure. His kind and generous heart touched every person he met, from his co-workers to his family and friends, and those he met on his many travels around the world. "Be thankful", Tim always maintained, "and never sweat the small stuff". Those who wish may pay their respects and celebrate his life on Tuesday, May 15th between 2-5 p.m. at Arlington Dominion Telegraph Event Centre, 97 Grand River St. North, Paris, Ontario. The family extend their heartfelt thanks to the Emergency Room Staff at Brantford General Hospital. Donations to the Royal Botanical Gardens Tribute and Memorial Program, or to The Sunshine Foundation greatly appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca13274524

Tim's Passing
Posted by Michael Theodor (Business colleague) On Thursday, May 17, 2018
I was saddened to hear about Tim's passing. As a 40 year veteran in the natural/organic products industry, I think Tim was the nicest person I worked with over the years. Immigrating here in the 70's , once I started to work with Tim when at PS, to me he was the ultimate "Canadian"...always nice, always fair and easy to do business with and talk to. Tim Ward made his mark in our industry in a very special way. I'm proud to have known and worked with him over many years...Michael Theodor

Too Soon

I had the pleasure of working with Tim for short time at DowBrands. Tim left an indelible mark on my life. Always positive, always constructive, and always well intentioned - Tim’s way of being helped to teach me to look for the “good” in people in any interaction. He was a warm and caring person, taken from us much too soon.
