Ruth Anne (nee Richardson) Kenney

KENNEY, Ruth Anne (nee Richardson) - A resident of Chatham, Ruth Anne Kenney passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 75. Born in Chatham, Ruth Anne Kenney was the daughter of the late Reginald and Vera (nee Neaves) Richardson. Beloved wife of Donald Gerald Kenney for 56 years. Beloved mother of Stephen (Rosemary) Kenney of Lambeth, Karen Ferguson of Glencoe & Kimberly (Brian) McGill of London. Grandmother of Matthew Kenney, Melissa Kenney, Joe Fuller (Christine), Jordan Ferguson, Christopher Kenney-Willder, Kinsley Kimball and Anik McGill. Great-Grandmother of Landon and Connor. Sister of Marilyn Garneau of Redding, CA, Douglas (Brenda) Richardson and the late Raymond Richardson of Chatham. Ruth Anne was a longtime employee of various Tim Hortons locations in Chatham. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge since 1998 and a member of Christ Church. She will be missed by many. Family to receive friends and family to celebrate the life of Ruth Anne on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the McKinlay Reception Centre, 463 St. Clair Street, Chatham. Memories will be shared at 3:00 pm. The Kenney family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Copper Terrace Long Term Care Home, Floor 3 East for the loving care they provided for their mom. Donations made in memory of Ruth Anne to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. My deepest condolences to Ruth Anne's Family. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. We shared many laughs & memories over the years. She is flying high with the Angels & will watch over each of you.
