From our time together at the staff association to many lunches and great chats in the years to follow - Karilee's drive and determination (and sense of fun)was an example to us all. Please accept Alistair's and my deepest condolences.
Glad I knew you

I did not work very closely with Karilee but we first connected at a research seminar about funding support for research in Germany. We discovered a shared passion for doing all we can to support and encourage participate in international activities. I will remember her energy, commitment to the cause and care for all the researchers in the School of Computing. Sad to hear this news and did not know she had been ill. Love and comfort to her family.

I didn't work directly with Karilee at Queen's, but I enjoyed many conversations with her in the lounge or the hall. She always had something interesting to say and I will miss her ideas and insights and her big smile.
