Annie May Halliday

HALLIDAY, Annie May - Of Ridgeway and formerly of Port Colborne passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late William Halliday (1984), loving mother of Ida (Paul) Horvath and Elizabeth (Kevin) Shewan, dear grandmother of Paul (Christine) Horvath Jr., Tara (Simon) Grant, Kascindra Shewan and Cameron Shewan, great-grandmother of Reese Horvath, Charlotte Grant and Tricia Grant, sister of Alice MacKenzie, sister-in-law Marjorie Thompson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Carrie Florence Halliday and her son Gerald Halliday, her siblings Leonard Thompson, Art Thompson, Ross Thompson, Robert Thompson, Catherine Stewart and Warren Thompson. Special thank you to Samantha at CCAC for her care of mom. The Halliday family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME , 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 9:30 until the time of the funeral service in the Davidson Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Overholt Cemetery. Dear Liz and family: I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mom. She was a fine lady. Always ready to help when need and opened her doors to us all. Remember all the donuts we ate.
