Irene Hishon

HISHON, Irene - Irene Marie Hishon, age 93, formerly of Stratford passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge (Milverton) on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Born in Sturgeon Falls, daughter of the late Wilfred and Leta (Hickey) Rabillard. Predeceased by her husband, the late Joseph Patrick Hishon (March 1979). Loving mother of Michael (Bernice) Hishon, Jack Hishon, Linda (John) Charbonneau, Lillian (Sam) Wyatt, Gerry (Ellen) Hishon, Ken (Diane) Hishon, Dan (Lois) Hishon, Theresa (Jeff) Gleadall and Joe (Sue) Hishon. Grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Irene is survived by her siblings; Annette Belanger and her sister-in-law Edith Rabillard as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Irene was predeceased by sisters Jean (Wilfred) Beaulieu, Mary (Ted) Moore, Theresa (Neil) Mejkie and Colleen (Hank) Lafleur along with a brother Peter Rabillard. Family and friends may call at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 50 Well St., Stratford on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Interment to follow reception, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (Kinkora). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the W.G. My thoughts are with the whole family,worked with Irene at Muirheads many moons ago,also played sports with the girls especially LIL. Thinking of you.
