Dale and family,

I am so sorry to see the news of Hans' passing. I worked with Hans for many years before he retired from Western. His smile and his jovial attitude was infectious. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathies

Dear Dale and family,

Just seeing the notice that Hans has passed. Cathy and I are so sorry, regardless of age, the passing of a loved one is never easy.

Hans was one my first professors and still remember him coming to a classification class with this big box of pots :-) When I started working there, Hans was often there to say a cheerful hello with that ever present smile for you.

He was a nexcellent, scholar, teacher and colleague.. You and the family are in our thoughts.
