After sending a private message to the family I thought it would be appropriate to convey how much Dan meant to me personally as a leader in our labour community. He taught us how not to be afraid when others would rather we be afraid and he taught us to hold our heads high and stand strong for our beliefs. He was the guy to call when the heart of the lion was needed - a soft hearted man with a big roar. I always liked Dan and my sympathies go to his family. What a character & special man.

Carolynne and I were sorry to hear of Dan's death. He was always a bundle of energy in both his personal and political life, and certainly we have many interesting memories about Dan. Without a doubt, he dd affect the [political landscape in Brantford. Our sympathies to Audrey and family.

Dear Family of Dan O'Regan,

I am a neighbour who got to know Dan through our dogs. Murphy(my dog), and I would often see Dan and his dog Simon at Anne Goode Park. Our dogs are great friends and they would run together in the park on a weekly basis. While they were running, I got to chat with Dan and got to know him. He often shared stories with me. I appreciated his sense of humour.

I will miss seeing him at Anne Goode Park with his dog Simon.

My Deepest Sympathy,

Carol Giles and dog Murphy
