Victoria (Vicki), Nee (Stoian) ONIEU

ONIEU, Victoria (Vicki), Nee (Stoian) - Victoria passed away peacefully Friday April 24th, 2010 at Sunnybrook Health, Science Centre, Toronto, with her beloved daughter Helen Anne (Onieu) Watson by her side. Victoria was one of many children born in Limerick Saskatchewan to parents John and Ann Stoian. After moving East to South Porcupine, Ontario she met and married Emile Onieu also from Saskatchewan who predeceased her. Her siblings Nick, Danny and Bill Stoian, Steila, Anna Czubak, Helen Sarafinchan, Mary Krakana and inlaws Rose Traian, Florence Estin, Ruby Punga, Victor, Steve and Peter Onieu predeceased her. Fondly and lovingly remembered by John (Eileen) Stoian, Constantine (Mary) Stoian, Sophie (George) Giofu, Zinnia Plummer of Saskatchewan, George (Diane) Stoian of South Porcupine, George (Sheila) Oniu of Texas, and Dimitre Oniu (Lucia) of Michigan U.S.A. Aunt Vicki (Tita) will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews including Victoria Ann (Lyas) Belisle of South Porcupine. She will be fondly remembered by many friends in her community. Victoria has been a devout parishioner of Saint Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church for many years. Visitation at STINSON FUNERAL HOME in South Porcupine, 100 Bruce Avenue on Wednesday April 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Panahyda. The service will be officiated by Father John Zivku at 1:00 p.m. Thursday April 29th at Saint Mary's Church, Maple and 8th Ave. East, Timmins with interment to follow at Tisdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. 11903516

Thinking of you all at this difficult time.When someone you love becomes a memory the memory becomes a treasure. I have so many fond memories of your mother that I will treasure.I also know how important your Mom was to Vicky Ann.My deepest condolence. Love Mary
